I waffled about reccing it since I know that probably everyone's read it already, but then I thought, when new readers enter the fandom, how will they know the classics? :) So of course I had to rec it!

It really does hold up so surprisingly well. Even the few deviations from canon feel like they *could* have happened that way.

And also it's fantastic that it's up and available on AO3. So many older works aren't, and some have been lost to time. So a great big THANK YOU from me for helping ensure that future readers could more easily find and enjoy this wonderful fic of yours.
