Was recently chatting with longdeadturkey, who apparently saw people handing out promos for an indy movie at Union Square named... Darkon. If you check out their website, you see that they're brave enough to use the award laurels around really lame awards like "Official Selection." Anyway, definitely watch the trailer. Man, I loved Sting as Feyd-Rautha. Sure, he didn't get to do much of the complicated plotting that book-Feyd did, and had to settle for looking sadistically insane the entire movie (which, you're right, should have been more of Rabban), but...Sting! Feyd! Awesome.

Plus, they got him far more right than the miniseries did. There, he's just a worthless fop who lets Irulan seduce him so that she can be the interesting character. Everything interesting about Feyd is far more in the Sting version than the miniseries version.

Uh, can you tell that I've thought far too much about this? It was one of my pet peeves about the miniseries, especially since Feyd was one of my favorite characters from the first book.
