Well, I picked all but one!

I'm just gobsmacked. You can't quit your elected office just because you're bored now! :(

She *is* a disaster. She's like a pull-string doll that repeats soundbites--she has no understanding of policy issues.

I think it's very sad that the Republican party chased away all their intellectuals. Now they're stuck with Dominionist loons like Palin, and that won't fly outside the Deep South.

I'm watching her speech now...I'm embarrassed for her. It's so rambly and incoherent. :(

Is it worse than the South Carolina governor's infidelity speach?

If she was, y'know, a normal person, I'd say that after the latest media blowup with David Letterman she's decided she just doesn't want to be in the spotlight anymore.

And if she had ever demonstrated any kind of savvy at all, I'd peg her for Option #2, but that would be giving her more credit than she's due, I think.

Possibly this is Door #1, although, again, I think that's giving her a little too much credit. But, on the other hand, there are certainly a lot of people out there who could have put the idea in her head for her.

Rumor is, her house in Wasilla was built with taxpayer money, as a kickback for the contract insanely expensive sports complex she had built...but there are no named sources on this yet.

Again, this woman has not demonstrated the sense that God gave Roz. I sincerely doubt the phrase "take the money and run" would mean anything to her.
