Writing Updates: Always - Promises

Dad’s at ER today, he’s having trouble breathing. Hopefully, they help him out. He’s been out of sorts and really tired the last few days. Emotionally he’s been well, but physically not so much. Mom went up there to sit with him, she’s pretty worried.

1. Leave a comment to this post!
2. I will give you a letter.
3. Post the names of five fictional characters whose names begin with that letter, and your thoughts on each.

I got T from Mikari~! And I got E from Cherri.

1. Tibarn - Fire Emblem Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn; He cracks me up. He’s the strongest man you’ll ever meet. In fact, he’s so confident about his strength that when Ike wishes him luck, he just chuckles and tells Ike that you don’t need luck when you’re as strong as he is. He’s the king of the Hawk Nation, so he’s the strongest hawk in the world (strongest rules). And he’s very loyal, somewhat pig-headed, and quite the vengeful man when angered. I’m pretty sure he ripped Ashnard’s head from his shoulders. I really wouldn’t put it passed him. All in all, I really adore Tibarn. He treats his friends well. And gives no mercy to his enemies. It irks me you can only use him for one chapter in the first one though! He’s so damn strong he can literally walk through the whole map by himself taking next to no damage. Oh, and his absolute loathing of idiocy and his need to pirate the nation that pissed him off still make me smile. Really? Yes. <3 Tibarn, why you so cool?!

2. Talim - Soul Calibur II-IV; Young and cute, she was the first character I could ever really play as in Soul Calibur. Unfortunately she’s not in V. But I really liked her because she was small and honest.

3. Trish - Devil May Cry; Honestly, I can’t hate anyone that breaks into Dante’s and throws a motorcycle at him. I mean, it’s ridiculous, yes. But it’s also hilarious. And I was a little mad at her for a while because she hurt Dante (not just by throwing motorcycles and impaling him) but I do love how honest she becomes when she’s with him. She really does strive to help him out. I’m also convinced that when they have to work missions, Dante shoves clothes at her and kicks her out. Overall, I really like her because it’s nice to see a badass lady.

4. Tifa - Final Fantasy VII; Although I was angry at her for years for not being honest with Cloud, I’d have to say I really do like her. I don’t know, maybe it’s just a change of heart because it’s often hard to tell people things when you know they’re not going to listen. It’s also really hard when you’re so unsure of yourself. I do like that in Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus she seems very fit in her role as a mother (because really, she is looking after three kids *I’m totally counting Cloud in there*).

5. Tylor - Phantasy Star Portable; Although his name is Alfort Tylor, the game addresses him as Tylor. HUR HUR. What can I say? I wonder if Mikari-chan saw this one coming?! Anyways, for a rogue he’s pretty cool. More of a robin hood than anything else. I don’t feel bad for him at all that we took the Landeel and made him help us save the galaxy. I did miss him in PSP2. ;w; He’s Don by then, which is cool. Shows how strong he is to be leading all the different rogue families. Personally, I think he’s pretty BA. That aside. I think only two words sum it up well enough. (Hotty Kitty)

1. Ephraim - Fire Emblem Sacred Stones; The older twin, loyal and smart. He does everything for his friends. I actually really like Ephraim because he’s a lance rather than a swordsman. I also love how kind he can be and how his men would do anything for him. I think of Ephraim as a generally nice guy who when pressed would win wars for you.

2. Elena - Final Fantasy VII; chatty rookie turk that I can’t help but love for her loyalty to the turks. She tries way too hard but it amuses me because Reno and Rude have to go save her. I also like that as one of the only female Shinra employees that you see, she’s not skanky. She’s just young and eager to do a good job. She tries hard. I like that.

3. Elazul - Legend of Mana; He’s a jerk. Hands down, when you meet him he’s threatening a little girl. I always want to slap him, but I know why he’s like that. I always feel so bad for Pearl, and I’m sorry Elazul, but I’m never going to choose you over her. ;w; He tries very hard to be a good knight but ends up being harsh and rough. He really grew on me though through the course of the game. Not that I ever hated him, just that I think he’s lonely and is so used to pushing people away that he wouldn’t know how to make a friend without help.

4. Estella - Class of Heroes; the student council president of one of the schools. She drives me buggy! She’s snobby and mean, pretty much treating you like you’re a servant. Makes me want to slap her. She’s rich and maybe she can’t help it, but we just wouldn’t get along.

5. Ethan Waber - Phantasy Star Portable; Don’t say awesomesauce. I mean that. I mean, just stop. Over all, I like Ethan. He’s a hero but doesn’t like to live in the spotlight. He just likes to do the right thing and help people out. I can respect that. I feel a little bad for him though, because I know Mikari can be a sadist. ;D

So yay, letter meme! :D

We went Grocery shopping today, so we have plenty of snacks again (yes, Mikari, we have some cookies).
