I tracked backwards here from the remix. I am so amazed let me count the ways. 1- The remix while a good tale in its own right, is almost totally unrelated. I guess because I see the DE tattoo as more a universal element from the Potterverse. 2- I thought that I had amassed a collection of all of the fics and art that came out of the prequel! How did I miss this?! 3- I am gobsmacked at what you spun off of those misguided T-shirts in Rowling's postcard fic. This is fantastic! Both creative yet sinister to think that Lord Voldemort came up with the painful and permanent tattoos after hearing that the Order of the Phoenix was openly sporting their emblem on a cheap Muggle shirt.
Thank you -- it begun as commentfic so I probably had no idea where it was going at the start! There's probably some bit of canon that contradicts it, but then it wasn't meant to be really serious. :)
