Little entry

I am quite pleased that my daughter is back with me. We went out to buy her jeans today and it was fun just being us girls. She is quite the smartass (have no idea from where she gets that!) but  she cracks me up. Serves as a great salvation from the craptastic days I sometimes have ( Read more... )

Reading your words about your daughter and being together again just gave me a warm feeling. Must be wonderful.

Good luck, again, on your ambitious scheme. I've got the greatest respect for people doing marathons. I couldn't ever do that.

My sister's boyfriend has been running the NY marathon once and used to run the Hamburg Marathon every year. Some of my friends and I have been watching the runners as they were passing the finishing line. Some were vomitting, many of them had bleeding nipples... Actually, I was shocked and didn't quite understand what's still driving them.

Thanks for the nice words about my little gal :o)

I am glad it is only a half-marathon, for the prospect of bleeding nipples sounds highly undesirable ;o) Seriously, I appreciate the luck. A cross country coach I know had a t-shirt made that said "if you have to ask me why I run, you just wouldn't understand." It's just something I need to do.
