I can't believe doctors are trying to bring in charging late fees. It's not a complaint on my behalf as I am always at appointments on time, but as I SIT THERE for 10-20 minutes waiting for my appointment it does occur to me that surely MY time is worth something.

Once, when I arrived on time, the receptionist snootily informed me that she would appreciate it if I would arrive 15 minutes before my appointment time so that she could have my charts ready for the doctor. It took all my willpower not to reply that if I did, it would mean that I would have to wait two hours and 15 minutes for the doctor rather than the two hours I anticipated waiting! I don't mind waiting up to half an hour, but anything longer than that is just poor time management on the part of the staff.
