For those not in the know... GEELONG is the host city of the UCI cycling event, the city making all the sacrifices etc. NOT Melbourne as you will see on the banners along the roads.

Apparently this is Geelong's coldest Winter in 10 years (by about 1 degree, lol), and also its wettest. Apparently our reservoirs are up to 50% full now!!!! There are even talks of easing the water restrictions. I don't think they'll ease them by much if they do. I can't believe doctors are trying to bring in charging late fees. It's not a complaint on my behalf as I am always at appointments on time, but as I SIT THERE for 10-20 minutes waiting for my appointment it does occur to me that surely MY time is worth something.
