Water
Apparently this is Geelong's coldest Winter in 10 years (by about 1 degree, lol), and also its wettest. Apparently our reservoirs are up to 50% full now!!!! There are even talks of easing the water restrictions. I don't think they'll ease them by much if they do. Apparently now Melburnians are allowed to wash their cars and water gardens using sprinklers. We're over having a garden anymore anyway. No point if you're only allowed to water it between 7pm and 8pm on Wednesdays and Sundays. We always used to forget! LOL. Yeah... I did end up setting reminders in Outlook but Danny had lost heart by then.
I hate seeing all the water toys that are around in catalogues. I realise not everywhere is under restrictions, but it kinda makes me sad that my kids will never know what a water slide is (as in the back yard variety), and Bekah doesn't know what it's like to play under the sprinkler.
