Discovery: The first recordings of something-like Split Enz (heard on the Enzology podcast part 1, Tim Finn & Mike & Jeff Chunn) recorded in 1969 sound just like the first Genesis album (From Genesis to Revelation) sans strings (added by the producer) recorded in 1969. He says in the podcast that the band he was in at the time he saw SE and decided to join was called "Orb" and they played Yes and Genesis covers. :D

Awesome! Has anyone else in Split Enz ever actually owned up to a Genesis influence? Being a NZer, I feel I should already know. :)
