Poor baby is still in the cone of shame. D: I will say I'm a bit anxious about this eye surgery but by the same token eye surgery in humans wigs me out. @_@ So I will think happy thoughts for you and your tiny! :D
And omg Renault is the best kitton sibling eeeever taking care of his sick brother from another mother. :3
The cone of shame will continue until the sutures come out! I am having nightmares about Renault getting in there with his teeth and undoing the eye-flap. Gnnnrgh. Eye things give me the serious wiggins, too. I couldn't even watch them do the initial squishing about when it was all swollen and stuff.
I think we can start calling him a Pirate Cat now, because HIS EYE IS ALL STITCHED SHUT AND SHIT and it looks horrific. I have to shut him in the bedroom at night, because I fear Renault will feel compelled to clean it and that would be bad.
Sadkitteh submits to hugs reluctantly these days. He suspects all physical contact of eventually leading to more poking and prodding, and yet...he cannot resist the belly rubs.

I really hope this solution works. And that his eye doesn't stick. (Your explanation of that, by the way, had me wiggling in my chair.)
Hugs for Rick, and thank you, Renault, for chipping in for the bathing (it's adorable).
