V-Day in the Nicky/Nick household

We didn't have anything planned originally, but Nick happened to come across a Carbon Leaf flyer in Chapel Hill and, knowing that they're one of my very favorite bands, he picked up tickets!  The show was technically Friday the 13th, but it ran into the wee hours of Saturday morning.  I'd never seen Carbon Leaf in person, and I was very impressed

How was Push? Better than Jumper I hope...

Better than Jumper (possibly because Chris Evans has oodles more personality than Hayden Christiansen, which isn't saying much), but it had the same sort of non-ending. Both movies felt like extra-long TV pilots, basically. And you have to be willing to overlook some VERY convenient assumptions made by the good guys. There were a couple points where I shouted, "OH HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY HAVE GUESSED THAT?" But still, I was entertained, and that's all I ask of a movie.

Also, I think your boyfriend takes the cake on Valentine's Day shenanigans. ^_~
