Model replicas, mummies, things in jars don't bother me. I think it's something about the "up-until-recently-living" part that gives me the willies.

Still, you should go on the offchance that you find it wildly cool rather than disturbing ^^ You can always walk out and go see the rest of the museum instead. I feel I ought to point out that the six-year-old we took with us was fascinated. Shame, shame on you as an adult for being wussier than a small child!

Hell, I'm all for organ donation and this isn't any different. My imagination just runs a bit wild and personifies them. It always took me a little while to mentally objectify a dead body (biology dissections and the like) and separate that from what used to be a living creature and that's where I get the willies.
Our exhibit is out at a mall, not in one of the museums ^^ That amuses me.

Honestly, all the bodies look alike. It's surprising how homogenous we look when you suck out all our fluids and go down to muscle and tendon. Really surprising, actually.
Apparently my okayness is weird...Katherine's creeped out, Nick's creeped out, I am the only one who's totally cool about it. I wonder what that says about me...
Okay, so you can go do your shopping afterwards! Where exactly in the mall IS it, to keep it away from small children and queasy people?
