HOLY MACKERAL, I LOVE CHEMISTRY! I made asprin today in orgo lab, and it was sweet. i got some really shitty IR spectrum though, especially because i dont' remember a lot of the numbers. i think i'm doing well when i pick out un/saturated bonds, OH or NH groups, and carbonyl groups. it made me sad though that i couldn't get good spectra. i am so excited for spring break you have no idea. ok maybe you do, but still. i hope there's snow on the ground, that would be nice. i really miss my family i think. my aunt went to the er last night, but she's okay, but i'm confused on why it happened since she should be in remission. i just feel like i should be home for things like that. this internship thing is really scary, and rushed. i'd like to land somewhere where i have relatives, but maybe yes, maybe no. maybe not at all. ARG

also, had a scary dream last night adn long story short durand is going to try and kill me along with two other guys i don't know, after killing some girl i didn't recognize.

oh dear - i'm starting this really late, but i'm looking for chem internships in st. paul and the first one to pop up on google was for the state dept. of investigations or some such, and it sounded scary. maybe i'll wait a year and check them out more next year, especially after i've had adv. lab. but i know where it is in st. paul!! anyone ( Read more... )
