HOLY MACKERAL, I LOVE CHEMISTRY! I made asprin today in orgo lab, and it was sweet. i got some really shitty IR spectrum though, especially because i dont' remember a lot of the numbers. i think i'm doing well when i pick out un/saturated bonds, OH or NH groups, and carbonyl groups. it made me sad though that i couldn't get good spectra. ASPRIN! but the asprin turned out and i think i got good yields. i need to do a better job in my lab notebook though.
OH, and i finished my red and grey scarf, which also makes me really happy, i just need to use kate's really big needle to weave in teh last piece of yarn. now i get to go find really needles, and some more yarn, and i'll be set for the next project. i'm going to get some crappy yarn and use my skewers and that to experiment and master new stitches. i'm thinking green and something.
i really think amanda is shafting me, but whatever, i'll see her at home, so we'll get that sorted out. lacks of communication really suck - no one ever communicates with me from home. anyway, the only thing in between me and my break is that orgo test and that internship application.
