Drinking Alcohol

Living in a college town, alcohol is readily available. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and stores where the purchase should be no problem at all. However, I don't drink alcohol. Why I don't is a multi-pronged issue:

For years my friends tried to convince me to have a drink, because they felt that I was blindly rejecting something that I might actually enjoy. It took a long time to help them understand that I just WASN'T INTERESTED. It wasn't like I was depriving myself -- I just wasn't curious, not the least bit. I think they finally get it. +mojan.

Ah, yes, that has come up in the conversations about why I need to start. It helps that I have strong memories of alcohol being disgusting.
