And then on top of that there was the fact that if he tried to talk to Jack about some of this he was frightened that he'd either laugh or worse, tell him he was being an idiot for worrying. He spotted Dr. Jackson almost immediately, dropping into the stool next to him, keys hitting the counter.
"Hey, man, thanks," he said, grin turning carnivorous as he realized Daniel had already ordered his beer, accepting it from him with a grateful nod.
