He'd never actually expected to talk to John the way he had over the internet, but it seemed easier than talking about it face to face. And then on top of that there was the fact that if he tried to talk to Jack about some of this he was frightened that he'd either laugh or worse, tell him he was being an idiot for worrying. Which he knew was right

John laughed, clapping Daniel on the back.

"Good. You look great." God, he loved alcohol...

[sneezing_sg1]

"Yeah," he let out a tight breath, "Thanks for that." Coughing a little he sat upright, "Well that was interesting."

"It's not a problem.. though I think this means we're both taking the bus."

[sneezing_sg1]

"I think you might be right there." He motioned towards the bar for two more beers.

John grinned, taking the beer graciously.

"Good man. I don't have many people I can go drink for drink with." He clinked his bottle against Daniel's, his grin getting a little goofy.

"Why do I get the feeling that I'm not going to like waking up tomorrow?" He riased his bottle towards John and smiled back, "Work sure will be fun."

"Oh yeah, a blast." Just like dealing with a hangover through the Stargate would be.

"And I am sure that it's going to be one of those loud days tomorrow with lots of running."

[colonelinblack]

"Isn't everyday at the SGC like that?" he asked amicably, sipping at his beer much slower now that his head was spinning.

"Not everyone, you can't tell me that everyday on Atlantis is fighting can you?"
