It's the 24th somewhere, so let's get this started. This will be the last checkpoint for this round. Rough drafts are due in a little over two weeks, on April 9th. Percentage of the fic done: 99%.
Type: Gen.
What I Like About the Story: It's finished! Also, it expanded beyond what I expected, making better use of all the characters. And Dean and Bran had epic tension.
What I Don’t Like About the Story: I'm pretty happy with it now. Wondering if maybe it needed more action.
Anything Else: I'm finished? Apart from a pre-posting trawl through for massive errors (unless being 200ish words off isn't allowed and I need to add that many words).

If you could strecth it a bit to be 15000, just the rules and hopefully that won't be too hard to do. We won't kick you out of the challenge over it (that's a bit ridiculous) but it would be nice if you could.

The 200 words might happen when I do my last trawl through for things that need editing, anyway, but I'm not going to add unnecessary padding.

What I Like About the Story: I'm pretty happy with the character development, and I really enjoyed writing the action scenes.
What I Don’t Like About the Story: Honestly, as lame as it sounds, I'm only sad that it's over. I really enjoy living in that world.
Anything Else: I've thoroughly enjoyed this challenge and look forward to it every year.

Good luck!!! Remember if when it comes time for rough drafts to be due and you don't have it done but are absolutely sure it will be done by May 3rd go ahead and submit.

What I Like About the Story: I'm having fun with it. I love throwing the characters together and then going through their reactions. It's fairly lighthearted so I feel free to just go with it. I also like the fact that the further along I get, the easier it gets to write.
What I Don’t Like About the Story: I can't conceivably fit in all the reactions that would be fun between all the various characters of both 'verse. Also, I'm feeling shaky on my SG-1 voices.
Anything Else: not at this time.

I wish I could help you on the SG1 but I don't know it that well, maybe try rewatching it to have the voices in your head lol. It looks like you are doing great and the SPN fandom needs more lighthearted fics :D

What I Like About the Story: I finally have a handle on my plot (I think) and am thoroughly enjoying writing characters I've never written before.
What I Don’t Like About the Story: My main character WILL NOT SHUT UP, and has officially taken over the fic. What was supposed to be a 3,000 word backstory in part 1 turned into a 7,000 word introduction that made it pretty much impossible to work in the other fandom I was planning on working in. It would have overloaded everything and been too much.
Anything Else: I'm ready to knock my head into a wall. I have most of the second part plotted out, but the rest is throwing me for a loop. I have ideas, but I keep hesitating as I write them. I need to stop worrying about what other people are going to think, and how good or bad it is (it's just the first draft, damn it) and just write.

JUST WRITE IT!!!!

I believe in you, you already have come so far (and a lot of people are going to be excited for this crossover). Remember rough drafts are supposed to be rough, you are going to have a whole month to do edits and smooth it out. Good luck!!!
