But I think I know how this is going to go. It will take them longer than you think to get here. Then it will take longer than you think to move things. And then you will stay and talk longer than you realize. When you get home it will be bed time. I may even be in bed already. And then another week will start.

I hope I'm wrong.

I apparently needed to keep better records of my starting salaries and ending salaries, immediate supervisors, and start/end dates for all my employment in the last SEVEN years. I have only one real question. . . . Why the FUCK does it matter?

You never really appreciate a good easy lull until events start kicking back up to high gear. I coasted for my first several months in Dallas. I went to Austin sometimes, but it was never stressful. It's been a long while since I felt like this. Thanks to the wonder of genetics and early exposure, I almost never get sick. It's so odd to wake up with a scratchy throat and an almost stuffery nose and know beyond a shadow of a doubt, a cold is coming on.
