This wa an oldddddddddddddddddddddd fic I read ages ago. It was based on something Harry had to do with dark magic and he was scared that he was going to turn into Voldemort but Snape promised to keep him in check. He did wind up becoming dark but Snape kept his word to keep Harry in check. Any ideas?

Okay I need help in searching for a fic I cant remember the name but I am sure I read it on HPfandom. It isn't very much I remember of it I'm afraid but what sticks out the most of this fic is Severus walking through the forest in the middle of the war with everyone fighting in order to get to Harry.
