Yeah, Harry has had so little affection you can see how he'd want it, especially if he sees it among his friends. But Severus has his dignity to maintain, too!

Very believable scenario. Harry's touches, Snape's little movements to avoid them, I like how you point out all the small gestures that lead to Harry's pain. Well done!
