I had to go to school last friday to speak with my independent studies teacher, which was required on the syllabus, right before I left for the meeting I was checking my midterm grades and realized that the man was giving me a "B". the grade may go up after you turn in the final paper, just do a little extra work... i know that is not the point, but you can not really change what has already happened.

it was pretty shitty of him to just give you the grade and not talk to you about the class or tell you why he gave you what he did, though.

some teachers are just like that, and now you know that with him you have to take the initiative to ask questions because now you know that he will not tell you if you do not ask...

i don't think that you should give up on school, have you found out how much you have left? it is probably not much :)
