I had to go to school last friday to speak with my independent studies teacher, which was required on the syllabus, right before I left for the meeting I was checking my midterm grades and realized that the man was giving me a "B". Please understand that I have no problem with a "B", but I haven't turned anything in so I have no idea why I have a "B" and if it is random why not an "A"? Well it was a short meeting and I forgot to ask about the grade so I e-mailed his and today he sent back a response (which impressed me having not expected a response till next week) it turns out he gave me a "B" based on my paper topic. He told me that my topic was good, but a little on the broad side and if I were to narrow it a little I would have an "A". Now the question is what do I do? I have already written 13 pages of this 25 page paper what does he expect me to do? So...now I'm a little upset, why wouldn't he tell me this when I e-mailed first gave him my topic? This sucks.
