I love the humor you managed to weave into this tale of recovering from misery. Between the lines you show us how Severus has a lot of growing up to do, and how he does manage in between other things.

Oh, I loved seeing the subtle growth of their friendship. I HC them as BFFs, truly, getting up to all sorts of mischief together (antagonizing Albus, grading papers, verbally sparring, etc).
