How I wish Severus had had an Olivia! But I love imagining a happy life for him.

Something in the back of Severus' mind had warned him to be ready. 'Constant Vigilance' and all that clap-trap, but if the Dark Lord was going to use Nagini against him, he wanted to be ready.

He really is a smart man, that's why his death in canon made no sense to me. He'd have been prepared in some way for the snake attack. An Avada... not so much, of course, but the snake was obviously something Voldie used to kill. Anyway, jumping down from my soapbox now. Glad you enjoyed this.
