Oh my, loved to see young Luciues and Severus ralizing and having to face the horrors of Voldemort's madness, the whump, the unicorn showing compassion and kindness, and Severus's pride and self-loathing... lvoely work!

A very powerful moment; I could feel his mental and physical pain. I can well imagine that the DEs turned out to be very different from what Severus expected. I loved the unicorn lore.

Severus and Lucius both seem to regret taking the mark and I feel Lucius was shocked when severus mentioned the Dark Lord would take their children next . Even through the pain and trauma Severus was suffering the little unicorn saw he was worth saving.
