Ooooh I love that he found contentment in books and scholarship, that's absolutely perfect. The setting is so gorgeous, the high window and piles of books, and he does look like he's at peace. Some stolen moments for himself. ❤️❤️

This is utterly amazing! The yellow light spilling in and giving warm luminosity to the whole scene. The vertical lines of the window, of the piles of books - and of the lovely leg, to which the eye is drawn also because of the shoe sticking down, out of the coloured background. Severus's choice of shoes and stockings revealed from under the dark robes, for once! And the cardigan, perhaps knitted by the same lovely witch - or wizard, why not - as the one Remus wears in PoA. Beautiful, brilliant!
