I think you'll be just fine for your job and you sound excited about it already! Which is always good, I think, because spirit is often what controls your state of mind more than anything else, really..
..ah--yes, if you're ever hungry feel free to drop by the kitchen? I'm sure someone in there will be more than happy to cook something for you lest I'm not around!

I'm interested to see what the food is like aboard a real ship. I'm not saying the mess at the academy was bad, but...well, it'll be nice for a change!

Chicken croquettes aren't very difficult at all. Perhaps you'll get to try them again sooner than you think!

We'd tease him about it...and then I had to learn some of the exact same things once I started training for radio operations. He really got a kick out of that!

I am Kiros Seagill, the mechanic onboard! It is nice to meet you.

You were wondering about recruitment? Have there been problems with people leaving, or...getting hurt?

Well...
It seems that most of the new recruits banished to the Victoria II, are all officers who the Military would deem as troublemakers of some kind...
I admit, my record isn't all that squeaky clean and all, but many who are sent here to the Victoria find themselves utterly outmatched by the old tryant we have as a Admiral.
Think of your sudden station upon this ship as a mock trial of some kind. Don't Make too much mistakes here or there goes your career!

...I wonder why I'm here, then? I don't *think* I was a troublemaker in the academy...
