william finally called from tour...they are in ISRAEL right now and have been for several days. i didnt speak with him because i am in class, but my mom said he has never sounded so happy and said that jerusalem is the most amazing place he has ever been (he has gotten to go all over the place...new zealand, brazil, russia, all of europe, australia

wow. i am really jealous of that. and i am glad that the middle east might not be as terror filled and insane as we might thing over in the western hemisphere. anyway, good for him.

because I don't want to tell you what I think about the whole situation I'll just say this...

Yeah, Israel is really safer than people think it is. I've had friends that have gone there (I have a friend right now that lives outside of Tel-Aviv) and the worst thing I heard about was a car bomb going off outside a cafe and injuring people, and that was in 2000 right after the Al-Asqa incident and at the start of the second intifada.
