The angst wasn't too much for my taste, thankfully, so it's fine. I think that Naruto is too soft-hearted and if he ever becomes an ANBU member it will have an impact on his psychology even if he tries hard not to show it.

Poor Naruto, good thing Sasuke and his uptight ass are there for him.
