An officer and a gentleman finds himself at odds with "the way things are" and speaks out. He's one of these much vaunted American heroes, but i somehow suspect that his career as a soldier is over.

There is one Pakistani guy who runs a by-appointment only warehouse north of Dallas. It seems to be far more difficult than buying say, weapons grade plutonium. There is that much traffic between the subcontinent and here, and that seems to be the main source of equipment.

Yes cricket in Texas boggled the hell out of me. Although it does have the climate for it - a climate like fucking Sharjah...

"there is however, something seriously wrong with the way that those with money can do whatever the fuck they want, to the point where they are all but completely unassailable (i am told)."

Wait.....you mean to tell me...people with money have power? When did this happen?!? Why didn't someone tell me!
Heh, hasn't this been the case for pretty much the entirity of recorded human existance? Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that this is hardly a new american problem, nor an "american" problem, nor even a new problem.
This is simply a fact of human existance.
