The New Star Trek Doesn't Look Right To Me...
The more I see of the new Star Trek the more I wonder if it will be good. What makes me wonder this is the newest photos I have seen that presumably come from the upcoming trailer. Such as ( Continued Inside... )

and lookalike or not, i think pegg has the "scottytude." the look on his face in that one pic is interesting, to say the least. lol
yeah, chekov's shirt does sorta look like a lacrosse jersey now that you mention it. haha
and remember: just because it looks advanced doesn't mean it is advanced. :D the first cellphones requiring more hardware than landlines, for example.
and besides, star trek is dangerous territory. cos there's people like you and me who love it but are willing to give almost anything a shot, and then there's the rabid people who flip nuts over anything even remotely deviant from the potential thought processes of a long dead creative genious who no one can really lay claim.
and let us not forget, star trek's working title was "wagon train to the stars."
