New iMac keyboard?
The other day\week I mentioned the article where they where talking about a possible iMac keyboard redesign. Well today some pictures have come out of the possible redesign.
This picture shows the keyboard from an angle view and it pretty much is what people have been talking about. The keys look more like the MacBook keys. I sort of pictured there being less space around the outside of it with the keys being more flush with the frame but it does look nice.
From the front I noticed they moved the function keys around which I am actually not pleased with. I like having the volume, eject, etc. keys where they where now. It does look like they have added more function key labels to it too. But I also noticed something... there is an fn key there and the keys are labeled as both F keys and those other functions so it seems like you might have to hold down that key and press them.
This picture shows how thin it is and I like it.. I also like the anodized aluminum. Here's another picture showing its thinness and it also shows how the USB port is looking right now. The back is nice and simple and "Not cosmetic unit" means that is a functional prototype I hear.
Lastly this nice tight closeup of the keys looks really nice to me.
I wonder if they are going to sell it separate.
