So I woke up today and discovered that my cat had puked on my bra. Now, the important question, which not one person has asked, should be, "Were you wearing it at the time?" (No. No, I was not.) And yes, I had others. Still. It's one of those days where the best option is likely, "Go back to bed," and yet I did not do that either

Since we've already had this discussion I will just say I like when you make the characters have phone sex.

I feel like it's turning into a theme. I had a fic where they were supposed to, and of course I can't make that one work. Random other fics? Stupid phone sex popping up all over the damn place. *shakes fist*

If you don't write them having phone sex, someone is going to have to. You should do it...or rather have them do it. I wrote phone sex one time. Not all that difficult and you would do it, rather have Prentiss & Rossi do it, better than anyone ever. You not only can do it, you totally should.

Now that I've seen the scene, I don't think it's about Rossi's basecoat. Heh. That almost sounded dirty. I think there was a scene we didn't see.

That scene could easily go either way, which was why I left it a little vague about what she said exactly.

I seem to recall, somewhere (insomnia brain is my excuse), that they changed the order of the episodes or switched the office scene from 1 epi to another, so this scene got dumped.

My thoughts on the scene as spoken to Smacky earlier...

Self: It was just really obvious in that deleted scene (very early on) that there was something more to the tension
Self: That scene though... With her taking the time to apologize and him getting snippy... That's what convinced me
Self: He was really concerned with how she saw him
Self: He made it a point to set her straight, when he's never done it with anyone else
Self: Everyone else he just shrugs off his reputation... Or even plays to it

Anyway, it just struck a chord with me and I used it to play in Dave's head for a bit.

Now to write the crack!fic somewhere in the Long Island point of the timeline. }:)>

Oooh, switching around the eps or the scenes would make sense too - I know they didn't show "Doubt" in season 2 because of the shooting at Virginia Tech, and then managed to use it as the season 3 opening to deal with their various Mandy Patinkin issues. (Which was kind of brilliant. I really love how they make do with what they have - JJ's sudden pregnancy was dealt with very organically too, considering their time constraints
