Morris is indeed Teh Sexy. He's starring in our new movie (Not Easily Broken) and I'm so excited for him. He's the lead, it's not one of his usual fluffy, romantic comedies, he plays a good guy and gets to really act his ass off. I'm hoping it will help really launch him as a leading man, because lord knows the world needs as much Sexy as possible. :-)
I looked up Not Easily Broken on imdb and it looks fantastic! Jenifer Lewis! Eddie Cibrian! So, cool, how are you involved with the movie? (I only ask because I'm nosy and endlessly fascinated by people. If that's one of those Secret Identity questions, just pretend I never asked.) ;)
PS: Please tell me Morris is bald in this movie. Please?
LOL! Nosey is my middle name, so maybe we're related? ;-)
I work for the author who wrote the book that the movie is based on. And we have a contract with Sony Screen Gems (as in the contract is literally with Author Enterprises, LLP, the company I work for - it's a huge conglomerate with a staff of FIVE WHOLE PEOPLE!) for 9 features, with NEB being the first. It wrapped filming in June, and is in post-production right now, with a final cut tentatively scheduled to be available at the beginning of October.
Eddie and Morris on screen together are a riot! And yes, Morris is indeed bald for most of the movie (he wears a wig for some flashback scenes...) The raw footage we've seen was really good, so I'm dying to see the finished version.
That sounds like a fantastic job! (I tend to think that anything even tangentially related to fiction is fantastic.) ;) I like small offices, too.
Woot! \o/ I fear the wig, but I will definitely have to check it out when it comes around. I'm behind on my movie viewing but now I know to look out for this.
(Who says fandom networking doesn't pay off?) Also, hi, Morris's ARMS are - whoa, he's about to throw down with Robert Patrick. This movie ROCKS.
I... do not think this word means what you think it means? *g* Priests wear cassocks, or various other garments; Cossacks are steppe-dwelling Russians with mad horse skills and strange leg-kicking dances.
FIXED. This is why I should not post late at night - it didn't look right but I couldn't arrange the vowels in such a way that spellcheck agreed except for cossack and...awesome. Thank you. :)
