Getting Around the Roadblocks!

Boy it's hard to change, isn't it? I mean I can change and do, but it's like watching partially frozen molasses coming out of a jar that only lets one drop out at once...

REALLY, really s-l-o-w. . .

I wake up every morning determined that today will be different, I will be a powerhouse, a whirlwind of activity... and it just doesn't happen.

What you're saying here speaks to me so much. I've tried countless systems to get on top of my disorganized housekeeping, never being able to control my household chores. Never being able to remember to do one thing after another. Always feeling like a failure. Always feeling incompetent for what ought to be small, simple tasks ( ... )

My way of getting where I could cope with the daily dishes and laundry? I did a couple of things. I worked hard at making them a habit, which it sounds like you're doing too. No matter what, I tried to keep on top of them, or at least whacking away at them more often than not, for 90 days ( ... )
