One of the things I liked when I worked overnight at a microbiology lab was that I was able to do really repetitive work--putting specimens onto agar plates--while having the greatest conversations with a friend of mine who also worked there about chaos magic, and listening to Coast to Coast AM. Yay, robot-part-of-brain!

Yeah, being in the studio at school is kinda like that. Not much discussion on chaos magic specifically but on wide-ranging topics & we all like to introduce each other to cool bands.

And we also did nutty things like slide down the hallways at 3 am. :-D

Good to hear that the knee is down to twingey. Hope the good parts of the excitement keep up for you.

*chuckles*

I recently came across rather an insane quantity of old (1940s-1970s) oiled and packaged machine tool parts. Thought of you the moment I got 'em in amidst my own greed - oh, about four months back - and then life had some life in it, and I forgot.

Would you be interested in having a small package of odd nearly mint condition metal things tossed your way?
