I had a weird thought this afternoon. With all the news talk comparing Gustav to Katrina (& the hurricane coverage is trumping all the political stuff at the moment), it struck me that it's like Mother Nature is commenting on the election-- & the message is "If you guys keep going the way you've been going, I'm just going to keep getting worse

Right, because the Democrats are so much better for the environment.

Well, considering that a Democrat recently won the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to combat global warming, I'd say they are. At the very least you don't hear Democrats claiming that global warming isn't happening.

That, at the very least, is the advantage there. The other stuff is crap. Democratic environmental policy still destroys the earth.
