A little known fact about me is that when I hit the legal drinking age, I became obsessed with cocktails. Not necessarily drinking them, but mixing them for my friends, buying books about them, and deciding that I wanted to be a bartender. I have no idea why, as I've never been much of a drinker. I was just fascinated with the art of mixing drinks

Alcoholism runs in my family, so I've been very conscious about alcohol's effects and maintaining a healthy relationship with it. I've had my 3 awful experiences with getting sick from drinking and that was more than enough for me to learn my lesson.

I have an email response partly type up for you, but I really have been almost ridiculously busy. But I promise I haven't forgotten you!

Myrtle Beach is quite the tourist attraction here and beware that it might be VERY packed! Pretty much everyone I have spoken with here has been there at least once -- I'm quite curious myself, though I would prefer visiting a quieter beach. :) I really miss the ocean! I wish I could visit it more often. =/ I need money first though. lol Do you have any specific plans once you're in the States? :D

Honestly, I haven't thought that far ahead. The vacation isn't until next year, so I don't really know where and when we'll be going. My parents are talking about spending a few days in Boston, but I don't know if that's going ahead or not. I imagine I'll know more sometime after Christmas.

Neat! :) Well...it seems like you can never run out of things to do here in the States, so there are plenty of exciting places to visit here! I'm sure you'll settle on something. lol :) I'm excited to hear about your travel plans in any case. :D
