As much as we could use the help, if the Winding Way could find out about our situation I don't doubt that there will be others. I just hope no one's crazy enough to cross the border so soon after the peace talks.

Even with the help of a few extra mechanics, the shortest possible downtime is at least a few days, and we'll still barely be able to limp into the nearest port to get proper repairs. Our biggest problem will be getting new water for the engine. Even if the Winding Way agreed to donate us some, it won't be enough to get us operational.

Then be careful, Kambei. And good luck. It's too soon for you to lose another student.

It might not be a bad idea to start keeping track of everyone's movements. If there's anyone not busy I give them plenty to keep them occupied and out of mischief. At least it seems like part of the network is down for now, which'll make it hard for anyone trying to make contact across the border.
