So lovely, peaceful, and beautiful jennydcf August 10 2007, 20:30:44 UTC
It's a pleasure to read your work; everyone's quoted my favorite lines, but the metaphor here is wonderful, too: Ennis had to swallow the lump lodged in his throat. He felt his edges begin to unfurl, opening slowly to the warmth in Jack’s eyes.

I really look forward to your posts; could I ask you to friend me so that they'll come up on my friendslist when you post? As I'm just a reader there's nothing on mine, but I'll friend you anyhow.:-)

The blue eyes, the sky, the smells, the clouds--lovely images. Just like these:

They reached the shallows and began to walk towards shore, Ennis purposefully walking behind Jack. His eyes feasted on the muscles that rippled like waves and flowed down to the curve of Jack’s ass.....“Inside me, Ennis. Now.”

Ahh yes. The wonder of Jack's back, my words can't even do it justice. However, I'm glad you appreciate the effort. Don't you love it when Jack gets all forceful and tells Ennis what he wants? *sigh* Thanks. - Em

See how determined I am to reply to this interlude, even after all this time! lol Thats what your writing does to me - makes me want to hang for dear life and never give up.

I love this little interlude, Em, it really is quite gorgeous. And sexy and hawt. And the title is lovely too. All those elements meshed together whilst Ennis and Jack are expressing their love for each other on their mountain....bliss. I love how Jack talks but hearing Ennis talk here was just as gorgeous. Being carried away by a far away memory of him and his sister (horray for Missy!) in the long grass in summer, and now he has a new memory to ponder on and treasure. *sigh*

Thanks for giving us this sweet little fix whilst we wait for The Dance to update (no pressure AT ALL).

Oh my honey. So persistent, despite extreme adversity and exhaustion! I didn't want to come out and say it, but I guess this interlude is my homage to the BBM Tag line, "Love is a Force of Nature." The elements all come together and bless this moment of peace and tranquility, a time of simplicity and *almost* innocence. As for The Dance update, I'm working on it, I'm working on it. *grumbles*. You really are a greedy little minx, considering you get it days before everyone else! lol. Welcome back. xx Em
