coachella!

the word of the weekend was OVERWHELMING. so many people, so HOT, so many bands. OVERWHELMING.

there were aspects of this past weekend that i loved, aspects that i loathed and aspects that i just ended up accepting.

the bad first...there are 88,000 people there. and i do not like crowds. i am not a fan of waiting and i am not a fan of ( Read more... )

it was a blast despite all the crazy. and i wanted to at least say i had gone once, to see what all the fuss is about. now i know. :) not sure i'll go back...but i'm glad i experienced it.

Glad you had a good time overall! I was considering going to Lollapalooza this year, but ultimately, the 3 day passes sold out before I could buy one, so I guess fate had other plans. While I'm bummed about missing it, like you, I HATE crowds and I HATE waiting, so I'm not entirely sure a music festival is for me. I get frustrated waiting for one concert, let alone 5 or 10 in one day. But still, I hope I get to go to one SOME time. Glad you go to see some of your favorite bands though! And Fitz & the Tantrums are awesooome. I'd love to see them live.

i feel like the sell out is fate!!! :) i'm glad i did it for the experience...but i think now that know i don;t NEED to do it again. :)

I definitely want to go to a festival at least once for the experience, but I guess this isn't my year!

SOunds like a great time! I would love to experience it! I know what you mean about being far away though. i love being closer tot he stage so i can actually SEE the ppl performing with my eyes rather than on the screens. I do love music festivals though. There is just something about the atmosphere

it's totally the atmosphere! i think it's being with other people who love music like we do! even though it's a pain it's still fun! :)
