[Dahlia is standing on Route 31, just a small distance away from Violet City.  She had asked Phoneix to go on a little walk with her alone and he had agreed to come along.  Dahlia was aware of what people from their world have been saying about her and she's sure that Phoenix will confront her about it.  Especially with the story the idiot

[In all honesty, Phoenix was...worried. Well, not worried, per se, but incredibly, INCREDIBLY wary. He knew this was something he had to do, but that didn't change the fact that he was practically scared shitless. Whoo boy.]

Butch and Lady, the only two Pokémon with him at the moment, mill around his feet worridly. They'd never seen their trainer this distressed, and so often! It was worrying!]
