im in new zealand as you may or may not know (im not so good at updating this at the moment). I've been travelling and living in a camper van with my friend james, and it has 'black sabbath' spray painted on the side. i love your tan coloured mini jacket by the by. been wearin it everywhere.. And i still havn't washed it so it smells all chris like. Which is both awesome and creepy.

The places you must visit are Rotorua, Marlborough, Nelson, Hawkes Bay... and Mt Taranaki, which you've done already! In fact, you've probably been to all these places already.

Rotorua is great but stinky and made my towel and boardshorts smell of sulphur (rotten eggs). Then I washed them with all the rest of my clothes and now everything smells of sulphur. grrrrr!

Dont think I made it to Marlborough or Hawkes Bay, but Nelson was lovely and Mt Taranaki was stunning..one of my favourite places. Its near a town called Stratford where all the streets are named after shakespeare characters. I may be back even sooner as money is almost gone....sob! x x

i second angel on the FACIAL HAIR?!!?!?!:!!!!WJAEJFRHDLJ-ness. but man, it sounds like you're having the best time. i love the idea of living in a black sabbath van! have you met any tame birds in the rainforest who come and eat out of your hand? i saw david attenborough do that once on TV and have been obsessed by the idea of NZ ever since. i got your text, it'll be so ace when you come home. xx.

No birds eating out of my hand yet..but loads of them are very very tame. There's this annoying parroty thing called a Kea, they hang around remote car parks and pester whoever is there (which in this case is us, as we always search out remote car parks to camp in). In fact we woke up one morning to a banging on the van roof, they were trying to peck their way in! But lots of other incredible tropical birds too - you would love it!

Ha, the faical hair is hillarious! I do have some pics, ill post them or show you when im home. Jude said i looked like a fisherman, just to give you an idea. No need to be scared though, im sure it will be long gone by the time im home :) x x

the kea - the ground-dwelling large (fat) parrot! i love them! i love the idea of being pestered by them. i thought they were rare and had to be installed on some remote island because cats and the like kept attacking them in their nests on the ground? obviously that must have been a long time ago...

i also love the idea of smellipher as fisherman. i have this wonderful image of you crossed with captin birdseye presenting me with a platter of yr finest golden fishfingers. ace. xx.
