(no subject)
im in new zealand as you may or may not know (im not so good at updating this at the moment). I've been travelling and living in a camper van with my friend james, and it has 'black sabbath' spray painted on the side. We're pretty much travelling in convoy with Jude and Jo who are in a 'bruce lee' van. Its been a bit of a whirlwind for the past 2 and a half weeks. hmm, list time i think.
things i have done in new zealand
seen dolphins swimming meters from the shore
visited forests with enourmous 2000 year old trees
seen glow worms in caves!
white-water rafed
rolled down a hill in a big inflatable ball
climbed half way up mt taranaki
visited matamata (hobbiton) and mt ngauruhoe (mt doom)
had a mud spa in a volcanic town
climbed the fox glacier
mostly though we've just been walking. the best thing about this country though is the scenery. everywhere is beautiful. at the moment im in queenstown and am surrounded by snow dusted mountins. we've been lucky with the weather too, only a few wet days so far. Its sunny and hot at the moment but it may not last so im off for yet another walk to take it all in and breathe some mountain air. i know that this will all be gone too soon. oh and i have a beard! like a big proper one. im trying to be as sterotypically backpackery as i can, and succeeding i think x x x
