Oh Puck =[. This makes me so sad for him and I can understand where Quinn is coming from, completely. I love how she's still completely in character through her grief, like switching in moods and everything. Perfect characterization!

Such a sad story. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child but the pain that Puck and Quinn are feeling feels real to read. It's sad to read their relationship crumbling, clearly only having been held together by Beth and you can see a lot of the old issues and insecurities coming back (Quinn asserting that Beth was her daughter in a way that she wasn't for Puck... Quinn never really trusting Puck enough to come to him for support to deal with her grief).

It's so interesting to read Rachel in this story. I feel like this is definitely a Rachel that we don't see much in fanfic... independent, confident, bitter, but still lonely, driven and yearning to belong (whether to someone she can't have or to a career that's no longer an option). I can't wait to see where things go from here for her and Puck. They're both going to have to cross a line soon.
