Welcome to my community! I'm glad you like the icon; I enjoy pulling Mr. Game & Watch out to challenge myself. He does rule, but he's rather light and doesn't absorb much damage.

I'm a Samus, Dr. Mario, and Peach player mostly. I like the Ice Climbers and the swordsmen, too. I haven't played in months because my friends don't really seem to care about the game any more, and that is understandable, I guess.

I hope you enjoy our community. It's usually a bit quiet, but hopefully we can change that :)

Hate to tell you but DK IS DK Jr. :P Donkey Kong got old and became Cranky Kong. Donkey Kong Jr grew up and stopped using the JR. Didn't you play the Donkey Kong Country series? (I know it makes no sense if you played Mario Tennis)
And yes, the DK rap is annoying.

I dunno about Wario because theres already a ton of characters from the Mario universe.

I think Pichu needs to get kicked out of the game. He's just a pest imo.

I was having this discussion in a bbs earlier this year. Lets see...we wanted as either cameos, characters, or items: King K. Rool, Mike from Startropics, Link's transforming masks, the excitebike dude, the 2wd from Stunt Race FX, Magikarp instead of Goldeen (has a chance of becoming Gyarados!), Wolfen (Starwolf), Bayonet, Mallow, Meowth, Ridley, Samus in the Fusion Suit, Smithy, and Starman from Earthbound

Mr. Game & Watch rocks! It took me all of two days after getting the memory card to get him... ok, so I had my nephews helping and we cheated to get Mewtwo. GAH it sucked so badly when I beat classic mode with everyone and he didn't show up ( ... )

It's too bad all those characters are owned by other companies.. they would be great additions. *I think* Sure Jigglypuff has one of the deadliest moves in the game.. but.. pulling it off is a bit of a problem. I used to do sing + sleep and that got them every time, but that was ssb, with melee they don't sleep nearly as long..

Anyway, I don't like the realistic characters "comepaird" to the cartoony ones. To me, there's no fun in playing as a "serious" character...(Except for maybe Ganondorf, he rules). I like my Smash Bros. to be goofy.
