Mr. Game & Watch rocks! It took me all of two days after getting the memory card to get him... ok, so I had my nephews helping and we cheated to get Mewtwo. GAH it sucked so badly when I beat classic mode with everyone and he didn't show up...

Anyway... I think they should DEFINATLY put more Donkey Kong characters in. I think the should put that chick with the ponytail or the chick with the pigtails. (I don't play Donkey Kong so I don't know their names lol)

What about Megaman X? And Zero? I think they are great canidates and have no idea how some of the other idiots got in the game besides them... the best I can figure (and I'm not even sure) is that the Megaman, Megaman X games weren't exclusive to Nintendo. But that's just my theory, I don't really know.

Since Sonic has games for the Gamecube now, I think they should put him and Tails in.

And finally, I think they should get rid of Jigglypuff and Pichu, give Mewtwo better attacks, and put another non-sucky pokemon in. Charmander or Squirtle I guess, or else on no one would expect, Vaporeon!

Tom Nook: He's only been in 1 game...lets see, he's not even a "classic" nintendo character. He's a newbie. wait a few years then let him in the party.

Megama X and Zero are characters by Capcom. They are not Nintendo's. Sonic and Tails are characters by Sega. They aren't by Nintendo. Super Smash Bros has been (so far) only Nintendo characters. Yes yes, Kirby is property of Hal Laboraties, but Hal Laboratories is owned by Nintendo. The Pokémon are property of Monsters/Creatures Inc, but that company is also owned by Nintendo. I think Ness is property of some other group, but i forget which, but thats owned by Nintendo. What about DK?? Wasn't Donkey Kong Country made by Rare?? Yes and No. Donkey Kong, the character and all of its storylines and additional characters belong to Nintendo even though Rare made all the games because back then, Nintendo owned Rare. Now that Rare is part of Microsoft, they no longer have the license to use Nintendo characters and screw them up (ie Starfox Adventures).

You can't put non-first and second party characters into smash bros. It wouldnt be an all Nintendo battle if you did. Unless the character was made by a second party within an an existing first party universe, it aint gonna happen.

yes Pichu sucks but I like Jigglypuff. He's got one of the most powerful attacks in the game. Down smash + B = You go bye bye! Mewtwo was an excellent choice. I say put Meowth in there cause he's a prominent character.

But thats the thing, every character in Smash Bros has been either: A Nintendo superstar like Mario and his pals, Link, Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Marth, Roy; a long forgotten classic like Ness, Ice Climbers or Mr. Game and Watch; or a successful second party creation like Kirby, Pikachu and his pals.

Theres very few games that use characters from other companies these games include:
Marvel VS Capcom series
Marvel VS SNK series
Tony Hawk series: Cameos of Spiderman, Darthmaul, etc
Soul Calibur 2: Link from Legend of Zelda is cameo-ing on the GC version.
Theres a couple more out there, usually the characters are secret

It's too bad all those characters are owned by other companies.. they would be great additions. *I think* Sure Jigglypuff has one of the deadliest moves in the game.. but.. pulling it off is a bit of a problem. I used to do sing + sleep and that got them every time, but that was ssb, with melee they don't sleep nearly as long..
