As of right now, what is your favorite book?

What about when you were 15?

Me:

Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy

&

Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut

I'm glad everyone is finally getting on board with Blood Meridian. That book is epic. Have you read Child Of God yet?

PS- You never answered the question.

Right now: The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway

When I was 15: The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway

I'm strangely consistent with favorites

Do you go back and re-read it every couple of years?

Yeah...It always seems strangely relevant to my life each time I read it as well.

I went back and re-read Breakfast of Champions last year and really found it to be lacking. On the other hand, I got a lot more out of Slaughter-House Five when I read it again last year than I did when I read it in high school.

Right now probably Brother Karamazov by Dostoevsky.

When I was 15, probably the Silmarillion by Tolkien.
